I live in Wisconsin, USA and found your site via researching St Colomban, Deux Montagnes Irish immigrants that have married into my mother's Elliott and Degenhardt families. . . I am 50 years old and grew up on a dairy farm here in Wisconsin and just want to say that your "Putting Food On the Table."

Video brought me such joy to know that so many people are willing to share their history in stories and pictures! It literally brought tears of joy to my eyes because it really touches the heart of those who appreciate the way that our ancestors paved the way for all of us through their labors of love and family and community. Thank you so much for sharing the video! I hope you may be able to do more in the future (maybe stories of the railroad workers, hotel keepers, cheese makers, butcher shops, blacksmiths, etc. !)
