Mud Houses in New Glasgow

--August 18, 2015.

I am researching a mud house (or other examples of a mud house) that was located in New Glasgow c. 1902. This seems to be a type of construction type brought to the area by Scottish settlers.

It was mentioned with a photo in a book by N.M. Hinshelwood, titled "Montreal and Vicinity".

I am assuming that it is long gone, but I am interested to know if there were other photos, a history of the building, who built it and its actual location.

Thank-you for any assistance you can provide.
