Max Polsky of Saint Sophie, by Michael Litvack

"The war brought everyone in, from large cities and tiny towns. Here is Max Polsky, dressed in uniform, in front of the general stores of Saint Sophie. The KIK soft drink signs were everywhere, but there were a great many in Saint Sophie which was the origin of the soft drink. The small grocery stores of the day all seemed to have the Salada Tea stickers on their windows. The Pepsi Cola, Seven-Up, and KIK Cola signage is all period correct."
