Located in the Globensky Manor, the Museum explains the heritage and history of the town of Saint-Eustache and the region. In particular, it focusses on the battle of Saint-Eustache, which led to the defeat of the Patriotes in 1837. An educational program designed for elementary students stimulates their interest and piques their curiosity.
The Museum offers walking tours of Old Saint-Eustache, on the theme of the 1837 Rebellion. There are also guided tours including different attractions in Old Saint-Eustache: the church, the gardens of the Sauvé-Chénier house and the Légaré Mill. A guided tour of the agro-tourism attractions in the Lower Laurentians region is another interesting way to round off a visit to the Museum.
